Kidney Dog Diet AI FAQ: helpful answers for everyday questions

Kidney Dog Diet AI Frequently Asked Questions

Buying & Getting Started

What exactly do I get when I buy?
A personal access code that allows up to 100 recipe generations or three months of access, whichever comes first. Ideas use the dog-profile information you enter and may include an illustrative image, a Recipe Design Score, and estimated nutrient information. Generated recipes are saved automatically in My Recipes.
How and when do I receive my access code?
After a successful purchase, follow the instructions shown in the purchase confirmation and check the email or message associated with the purchase channel. Delivery method and timing may vary. If you do not receive your code, contact support with your order details; never post the code publicly.
Do I need a separate account, technical key, or subscription?
No. Everything needed to use the recipe generator is included in your Premium pass. Simply enter your personal access code and start creating meal ideas for your dog.
What devices and browsers does it work on?
The web app is designed for current mobile and desktop browsers. Performance and some features can depend on the browser, device, network connection, and third-party service availability. There is normally nothing to install: open the site and enter your access code.
Where do I enter my code, and is it saved?
Open Premium Access from the app menu and enter the code there. The browser may remember it on that device. On another device, browser, or after clearing browser data, you may need to enter it again. Keep the code private because it connects to your allowance and associated app data.
Is this a physical cookbook?
No — it's a web app you open in any browser. Nothing ships to you. You generate recipe ideas on demand using the profile information you enter, rather than using a fixed book.

Using the App & Features

How does the app use my dog's profile?
You enter weight, breed, age, veterinarian-reported kidney information, optional bloodwork, conditions, allergies, and cooking preferences. The app uses those entries as generation context and may estimate portions using the reported weight.
How are recipe ideas generated?
The app uses a structured prompting framework developed specifically for dog meal planning. It organizes the information you provide, applies ingredient and preparation rules, and produces a consistent recipe format that is easy to review, save, and print.
What does the Recipe Design Score mean?
It is an internal comparison indicator from 0 to 100 showing how closely an output follows the app's recipe-design instructions. It is not a clinical or safety rating.
What are the three nutrient numbers?
Recipes may show estimates for phosphorus, protein, and sodium. These values are provided for convenient reference and are not laboratory results or a complete nutritional analysis.
Does every recipe come with a photo?
A recipe may include an AI-generated illustrative image when that feature is available. It is not a photograph of your prepared batch and may differ from the listed ingredients, quantities, texture, portion, or finished result.
Can I switch between metric and imperial units?
Yes. There's a metric/imperial toggle so you can enter your dog's weight in kilograms or pounds, whichever you use. Your choice is remembered for next time.
Are my recipes saved automatically?
Generated recipes are normally saved automatically to My Recipes and linked to your access code. Enter the same code on another supported device to retrieve associated content. Reopening a saved recipe does not create a new generation.
Can I download or print a recipe?
When available, use “Download PDF” to save or print the recipe. A PDF may contain an illustrative image, ingredients, preparation steps, portion guidance, and nutrient estimates.
What happens when I generate another recipe?
The new recipe replaces the one currently shown on the Generator page, but the previous recipe has already been saved automatically in My Recipes. Only generating a brand-new recipe uses one of your recipe credits; viewing, reopening, or downloading saved recipes does not.
Which actions use up one of my 100 recipes?
Only generating a brand-new recipe counts as one of your 100. Automatic saving, re-opening, downloading, or viewing saved recipes never uses an additional recipe.
Is there a daily limit on recipes?
No. There is no daily recipe limit. You can generate as many new recipes as you want in a day until you use the total recipe allowance included in your pass. Each new generation still counts toward your 100-recipe pass total.
Can I tell it what ingredients I have on hand?
Yes. You can list ingredients you have, and the app may use them as generation context. Always verify the generated ingredient list and any allergy restrictions before preparing it.
My dog turned its nose up at a recipe — what now?
You can record foods your dog refuses and generate another idea, but reduced appetite, nausea, vomiting, or sudden food refusal can require veterinary attention—especially in a dog with kidney disease. Do not rely on the app to assess the cause. Contact your veterinarian promptly for guidance.

Your Pass, Renewals & Refunds

How do I check how many recipes I have left?
When your code is entered, the app shows a small status box with recipes used, recipes remaining, and your expiry date. It updates automatically as you generate recipes.
What happens when my 100 generations or three months run out?
New generation access ends when either limit is reached: up to 100 generations or three months, whichever comes first. The app should display your current status. Saved content may remain viewable subject to the app's availability and applicable terms; renewal is required to generate additional ideas.
How do I renew when my pass ends?
When your pass ends, the app shows a RENEW ACCESS button in Premium Access. Tap it to review the renewal details in the app, then continue to secure Stripe Checkout. After payment is confirmed, the same access code is renewed automatically with a new recipe allowance and validity period, while your dog profiles and saved recipes stay in place.
If I renew, do I keep my saved recipes?
After a renewal payment is successfully confirmed, the app is designed to renew the same access code so its profiles and saved recipes remain associated with it. Keep your confirmation and contact support if the renewed allowance is not reflected.
Is this a one-time purchase or a subscription?
It's a one-time purchase — no recurring charges, nothing billed automatically. When your pass runs out, renewing is entirely your choice.
Can I get a refund?
Refund eligibility depends on the Refund Policy presented with the purchase, the purchase channel, whether digital access has been used, and any rights that applicable law gives you. Contact support with your order details if the service or code is not working. Nothing in this answer limits non-waivable consumer rights.
My code isn't working — what should I do?
First, check that the code is entered exactly as provided. If it still does not work, contact support through the purchase channel or email info@jjdigit.com with your order details, but never send payment-card information or sensitive medical information. We will investigate the issue.
I lost my access code — how do I get it back?
No problem — your code is tied to your purchase, so we can resend it. Message us through Etsy, or email info@jjdigit.com with the name or email used for the order (and your Etsy order number if you have it). We'll look it up and send your code again.

Your Data & Privacy

Where is my dog's profile stored, and why?
The profile information you enter is stored so the app can use it as generation context and retrieve it when you use the associated access code. Storage, service providers, retention, and your choices are described in the current Privacy Policy.
Do you share or sell my information?
Information may be processed by service providers needed to operate the app, such as hosting, payment, communications, analytics, security, and AI-generation providers. The current Privacy Policy should explain the purposes, categories, disclosures, retention, and available privacy rights. Avoid entering unnecessary information about people or highly sensitive personal data into pet-profile or recipe fields.
What information is actually saved?
Depending on how you use the service, saved information may include the access code and usage status, dog profiles, automatically saved recipes, technical and security records, purchase-confirmation data, and support communications. Some preferences may also be stored in your browser. See the current Privacy Policy for the authoritative description and available controls.
Can I share my code with a friend?
Treat your code as private. Anyone who has it may consume the generation allowance or gain access to information associated with it. Permitted use and any account-sharing restrictions are governed by the current Terms. If you believe a code has been exposed, contact support.

Safety for Your Dog

Is this veterinary advice or a prescribed diet?
No. Kidney Dog Diet AI provides meal-planning ideas, not veterinary advice or a prescribed diet. Review a generated recipe with your veterinarian before feeding.
Why do homemade diets need supplements?
Homemade recipes may require precise supplementation. Your veterinarian or a qualified veterinary nutrition specialist should determine the products and exact amounts for your dog's complete diet.
How do you handle foods that are toxic to dogs?
Check every ingredient and product label before use. If your dog may have eaten something toxic, contact a veterinarian or animal poison-control service immediately.
How should I introduce a new recipe?
Ask your veterinarian how to introduce a new recipe for your dog's condition. Stop and seek guidance if appetite, vomiting, stool, hydration, energy, urination, or other symptoms change.
What about puppies, pregnant or nursing dogs, or other conditions?
Puppies, pregnant or nursing dogs, and dogs with multiple or complex conditions have specialized nutritional needs. Use recipe ideas for these dogs only with professional veterinary guidance.
