Cucumber and Watermelon Frozen Bites

Ingredients

• 1 cup seedless cucumber, peeled and diced
• 1 cup seedless watermelon, diced and pureed
• 1 tablespoon plain yogurt (low-fat, unsweetened)
• 1/2 cup water

Step-by-step instructions

1. Start by peeling and dicing the cucumber. This helps make it more digestible and ensures that the skin, which can sometimes be tougher, is removed.
2. Next, take the watermelon and make sure you use seedless varieties. Dice the watermelon and then puree it in a blender until smooth.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced cucumber, pureed watermelon, plain yogurt, and water. The water helps to dilute the mixture, making it easier to freeze into bite-sized pieces.
4. Now, pour the mixture into ice cube trays or silicone molds. This will allow you to create small, manageable portions that can be easily frozen and served as treats.
5. Place the trays in the freezer for about 4 hours or until completely frozen. Freezing the mixture helps preserve its nutrients while providing a cool, refreshing treat for your dog.
6. Once frozen, pop the bites out of the trays and store them in a sealed container in the freezer.
